a few thanks need to be expressed after the momentous occasion on Sunday. Thanks to all the players, doubted by a lot, but by god ya's are a credit to yourselves and your families. The pride, passion, commitment, skill and class displayed on Sunday was amazing. Well done lads.

Big thanks and congrats to the management. Everything was down to a tee, meticulous planning and training that went into this was plain for all to see. The belief and confidence given to the players made a massive difference. Brilliant stuff lads. Big thanks to our physio, Grainne Murray, you do a great job and you are kept busy, thank you. To the stick men and water men, thank you.

Thanks to Kevin Lynch's Dungiven, for the use of their pitch for the squad warm up. Greatly appreciated by all of us. Thanks to Coach Connections for the transport and to the Elk for our food after the final. Commiserations to Ruairi Og, Cushendall. They are a great club and will be back next year.

Our committee need a lot of thanks, they have supported and backed the Senior squad with anything they needed. Gerard and Paud have been very busy and the Senior management and squad would like to thank all for their efforts and help. Also, to the bar staff over the past few days. Very busy and patient, thank you.

The support that has been displayed the past few months has been nothing short of remarkable. The well wishes and good luck messages to the players means a lot. On Sunday when 'Its a Grand old team' was being sung from the stand, it was amazing. It lifted everyone and drove the boys over the line. With your support, Portaferry can continue to grow as a club in Ireland. Go raibh maith agat.

We now play the Munster Champions in the All Ireland semi final, how good does that sound.

UP THE PORTS.
