Coaching courses

Hurling Coaching Courses - Closing Date is Friday 4th October

Ulster GAA are hosting Level 1 Youth & Adult and Level 2 Coaching Courses both Pre and Post-Christmas, based on uptake of participants.  We will aim to run the courses in a regional venue closest for the most participants.  If you would like to register for, or require any more information on any of these courses please contact either Jimmy Darragh at jimmy.darragh.ulster@gaa.ie or Kevin Kelly at kevin.kelly.ulster@gaa.ie  Before Friday 4th October.

 

Coaching Workshops

Ulster Camogie through their Talent Identification & Coaching Officer, Ross Corbett are running their coaching legacy programme in conjunction with Sport Northern Ireland, there will be two workshops  run before Christmas, which are open to all coaches to attend.

They will both be held in Gortin GAA, Co. Tyrone from 2:30pm – 4:00pm on Saturday October 26th and Saturday November 30th

Saturday October 26th will see JJ Doyle of Wexford delivering a practical session on Winning Primary Possession & Breaking Ball

Saturday November 30th will see Martin Fogarty of Kilkenny delivering a practical session on Creating Score-able Chances and Taking Them

Each session will also include a question and answers session immediately afterwards.  There is no cost on attending these workshops, they are open to all camogie and hurling coaches and promise to be a very interesting and beneficial to all coaches of all levels. It would be great to get as many coaches as possible to the workshop as it is not often we get the opportunity to avail of such a successful coach working in our province.
