The county Down feile took place on Sat 18th May in Warrenpoint.  Mixed results for the club.  The boys drew with our neighbours Ballycran in the 1st match and were beaten by Carryduff in the 2nd match, lucky enough carryduff beat Ballycran by a larger margin so the Ports got to battle on. But it just wasn't to be for the boys. They came up against a strong Bredagh team in the Semi Final and were narrowly beaten by 1pt.  Hard luck boys but keep the heads held high. You all played with pride and done us all proud, just look on to the rest of the season and hopefully you will get some silverwear on the way

On the other hand, the girls had a very successful day.  The girls won every match they played in and only conceeded 1pt the whole day. That is some acheivement on its own!!!  They beat Ballycran in the 1st game and went on to beat Bredagh who where the only team to score against us.  They then faced our other neighbours Ballygalget in the final.  The girls started the game strong by scoring within seconds of the throw in and this was the way the match was to continue. Final score 3-4 to 0. The girls now head down to Limerick with hugh hopes.  Well done girls.

They club is soo proud of all of our u14's.  You all played with pride and passion and you all gave 100% and that is all anyone can ask of you.   A big thank you goes out to all the mentors and managers, to the parents and to all the supporters who travelled over and cheered both teams on in terrible conditions.
